______ Storm, son of Glitch, son of Willow, daughter of Naomi, the Gatekeeper. Although his father sought to escape the burdens - curse, some would say - of grandmother's legacy, Storm embraced his bloodline eagerly. Too eagerly, perhaps. Many of the dragons in the clan consider him a bit obsessed.

______ Storm was born in a cave in the middle of winter. Like many of his siblings, he was destined to leave the Icewarden's domain. Every day he would peer outside, trying to see past the blinding snow and dim skies as blizzards tore through the ice fields. He thought he wanted to go somewhere warm, but could never make up his mind. Eventually, his parents hatched another nest, and as the cave grew crowded he felt the urge to move on acutely.

______ His mind was made up when he encountered Eurion, messenger to Clan Palatine, who had (as was his tendency) been too slow to finish his rounds and subsequently waylaid by the terrible winters of the Southern Icefield. The old Imperial's sunny nature and tales of lazy days spent sunning in the Sunbeam Ruins caught Storm's imagination, and he decided to travel with Eurion back to Clan Palatine. However, to his disappointment, by the time Eurion returned, the clan had already moved to the eternal darkness of the Hewn City.

______ Despite his best intentions, Storm could not help but miss his childhood home. Despite the darkness, the Hewn City was warm, and the air was stiller and more stifling than he was used to. To help counteract this, Encarmine purchased several rare artifacts of unmelting ice that cooled the air around him and provided a soft, chill breeze to accompany his every movement. Storm's own magic allowed him to create several floating coldflame candles, which soon became a popular item among the clan's more fashion-conscious dragons.

______ Storm further developed his ice-borne powers to provide ice for the clan. Although his skills were never very strong or combat-oriented, Storm developed exquisite control to make the most of what he has. It is enough to emulate his old home, although passing dragons are warned against entering his workshop or personal rooms (not coincidentally located just beside the clan's cold rooms and freezers) without first dressing warmly - Storm himself may wear little than veils and ribbons, but that does not mean you should too.

______ Let yourself visit Storm's workshop. Come see some of the most beautiful creations of ice. Commission a custom work of art unlike anything you've ever seen, or simply feast your eyes on frozen sculptures and self-contained founts of living ice. And at the center of it all is the sculptor himself, a beautifully dramatic dragon in the midst of his element, surrounded by a thousand chiming droplets. You will not regret it.
