Aithne is a difficult fae to understand, and despite her general amicability, she finds it hard to keep friends. She's long since learned to keep to herself; she opens up to few, and otherwise deigns to be polite to the faes helping her with her library. She's very smart, and she loves getting the chance to nerd out about her topics of choice. It's easy to see when she's in one of these moods, too- her frills move so rapidly they're practically a blur. Aithne may tend towards cold, aloof cordiality, but she becomes downight excitable if you get her talking about a favorite subject. It's not evident at first glance, but Aithne has self-confidence issues like nobody's business. She has a lot of responsibilty on her little shoulders, and the doubt that comes with it can be overwhelming. She's also a rare fae- she has very little magical prowess. As much as she hates to admit it (which she doesn't to anyone but herself), she depends on her mate to keep her calm. It's not always successful, but Moryn's presence is usually enough to bring Aithne down from an anxiety attack. |

Nytesdottir is a handy companion for a librarian to have. Sure, it's a bit difficult for an elk to walk through a library, but on the other hand Aithne can stack books in her antlers like there's no tomorrow. Win-win, really. Aithne is never seen without this gilded tome strapped to her side, and she certainly never lets anyone read it. The most she's ever revealed is that it's passed down among Tapanara Faes, and it's her turn to be its guardian. Aithne makes up for her lack of magic with her enchanted ring, made custom for her and spelled to respond only to her commands. Those commands control a variety of dragon golems, all of which look and act like normal fae. The golems each wield tremendous elemental power but can only be used defensively, and as such they make perfect library guardians.

Moryn- Aithne's mate. She loves him, and she's dedicated to him almost as much as she is her task of guarding her tome. She'd let her library burn before she let anyone harm Moryn. Nerezza- Nerezza is like family to Aithne, the little sister she never had, and she loves Nerezza as such. There's no faster way to see Aithne get mad than to threaten Nerezza. Tishembra- Aithne and Tishembra are are close to best friends as they can get. They're both generally misunderstood, and they find a comraderie in it. |
