When the dust settled, the first thing the fae noticed was how gentle the sunlight was, nothing like the harsh, synthetic light of the labs. Slowly, the world around her began to fill in. Brown canyon walls. Beige sand. Blue sky, blue river. Yellow sun in said sky. Spires, it was warm. The spires. She could see them in the distance, before, she had only heard of them. Heard. Noise. She could hear the thunder in the distance.
Hush.
She needed to think.

In the beginning, there are no towers, divisions, or any plans for such - just a storm, and a dream for the future. The corporation starts quietly. A lab experiment, the dragon that saved her, and a restless spiral they found along the way.

Gradually, they travel through the dry vastness of the shifting expanse, learning and meeting others along the way. A young pair of mirrors, who refuse to be separated; a cunning, strong minded bogsneak from a far off clan; a wandering pearlcatcher artist, who's eye for detail comes in more than useful; and so many more.
Slowly, something forms. They find a place to settle, and towers rise from the sand, symbols of unity and progress. The corporation grows, and grows, and grows, and becomes something more. All is good, and all is bright.

But it can't last forever.

Beneath it all, something is brewing. A plot, because no-one can ever be satisfied with what they are given, with the life that they have. Someone always wants more, and will do anything to get it...

The dustcarve dig will be a perfect opportunity for investment! And really, she's curious - Sirocco wants to know what's going on behind the scenes.
