Mothra is a dragoness of few words. Whether she does this on purpose or not is a matter of contention among many of the clan members; she is quiet in both movement and speech, but when she does either, it is particularly unnerving ("Bloody creepy," is what Rain mumbles instead, though never within earshot). She is the keeper of the hunt, which essentially means that everything brought back from food-gathering expeditions goes through her first. During times of famine, rationing also falls under her jurisdiction. However, like with everything, she fulfills her task with silent dedication.
