LYR

Lyr was the third in his family's line, born minutes after his older sister. As a hatchling he strove to catch his father's eye in any way possible- helping out around the clan, studying his craft, trying to invent new elixirs- but his father paid him no mind. It was his sister that Grimmaldus was concerned with, and Lyr was neglected as a result. The Imperial slowly became embittered to his situation. Though he continued to learn the art of potionmaking from his mother, he swore to fight against everything his father stood for.

The clan's healer, Eadaoin, was not known to take apprentices... yet for some reason she made an exception for the bold young Imperial. He may not have had her mastery for ice, but he learned to interpret her lessons into his brews. By the time his sister left the clan for new horizons, Lyr was ready to leave too, determined to keep as many dragons alive as he possibly could.

Lyr's time soon came. In Aligator clan, there was an opening for the clan healer. At the time, the responsibilities were on Steven, the founder and Alpha male of the clan. Although, Lyr was originally suppose to be exulted, the plan changed when Steven read his resume and saw that he was a former apprentice of Eadaoin. Steven had heard of Eadaoin, but never thought she would have taken on an apprentice.

In Lyr s first few days in Aligatorclan, his goal was to become the clan s healer of his his new clan. Because he was Eadaoin s former apprentice, Steven offered Lyr the job as the clans healer and after a week of training in the collisum he was given his first healing stone.

Ryl (Lyr backwards) Lyr s familiar, has encourages him to continue to do what he does best and work on inventing elixirs. It became very unlikely Lyr would ever leave his new clan because when he became the mate of Heaven Lee, the daughter of the clan s Alpha male and considered the most beautiful dragon in the clan. Shortly after HeavenLee became Alpha Female, Lyr became the Alpha Male, but as a leader, Lyr did not do very well. HeavenLee soon asked for a divorce and Lyr decided to step down as leader leave Alligator Clan.
