Born to Orpheus and Contrast, Azure was linked by blood to a dragon named Cloud. This particular fae was his uncle, brother to Contrast. He's quite a peculiar fellow, dealing with weather and such, but that is a story for another day. Cloud had returned to his home clan with a mate, and having their first nest of hatchlings, he decided it was best to remain in his home clan for a while, instead of travelling around Sornieth as he usually does. It turned out that Contrast had also had a nest of hatchlings- twins. Azure was one of these two, having a twin sister as well. From the time he heard about his uncle, he was riveted; asking many questions, he learned about his uncle and the place that he lived.

Azure is a Night Warrior. Or, at least he's descended from one- as a hatchling, he had not yet begun training. Most of these hatchlings end up travelling to other clans, to help spread their heritage and serve more clans. With this in mind, he realized that he could travel to the clan of his uncle. His parents could see he was set on this destination, and so let him become their Night Warrior.
