Ruslan
Ruslan left his parents with a fierce urge to find somewhere to make his own reputation away from their shadow, finding Iceele's lair. He quickly found Ivanka, a fighter who reminded him enough of them to feel like he was someone he could learn from. To his dismay, Ivanka was hard to convince of his sincerity. They almost immediately got into a fight, leaving Ruslan with his first scar but when he came back regardless Ivanka was greatly impressed. In Iceele's lair, he became a fighter in training.

However the recent events of elemental surges caught him alone as he practiced fighting skills along the rocky shore, and tossed him about the waves until he was washed inland in a silvery, arcane-infused brook. The clan of silverbrook was suspicious at first until Verse recognized him as a dragon she had nested with once, and the father of Halle. She had greatly liked him, and was happy to have him around. She cared for him until he recovered, and he decided to stay with the clan. He trained further with Emilia and other battle dragons such as MoltenRiver and is now a prime fighter.

As of late, his personality took a turn for the worse - so much that Verse moved out on him and nested with another dragon. Maybe he was always like this? He quit the battle patrol and moved to a corner of the clan, breaking up with Verse, who wasn't all that disappointed at that point.

After a vacation elsewhere, Ruslan realized he was a jerk and did some emotional maturing. He knows Verse is not going to be his mate again, but they can at least tolerate each other's presence now.
