"Why are you wearing that stupid smile?"

A puckish and elusive folk hero of the Wyldren. His prodigious talent for illusion and youthful charisma have elevated this orphan of the Wildwood to an almost mythical status among the riverfolk; though few have set eyes on him, he walks among them as a masked prince- the eternal enemy of the Valari and kindred to the hardy thistle and weeds.

While indeed resourceful and clever for his age, those that know him would see that the hopes and dreams of his people weigh heavily on Selvaran. Gone are the days when the young imperial could play the amidst the ferns with Baju, or laugh with Aith as they stuck burs in sleeping Theafain's beard. A bittersweet youth, well-spent but over too soon, the precocious child now a rallying symbol for a dying way of life. The reeds sway, and the leaves dance green and silver, as they did in those distant summers. The river flows on, indifferent.
