Filipa has always believed that there is a song in everybody. That each dragon has a song, a spark, a purpose, to their life. Just because they don't sing, or hate singing for whatever reason, does not mean they don't have a song. Many dragons think that because Filipa follows this reasoning must mean she's a really good singer, but she's not. She doesn't consider herself an amazing singer, but she's certainly not the worst, either, since Filipa was pretty sure if she was that terrible dragons would be complaining to Vaermina left right and centre.

Created from the result of an experiment in a cauldron, Filipa has few memories of how her life came to be. She often envied those with parents when she was younger, because she didn't receive the love and support they did. However, she soon found a mother's embrace from Portal, who raised the Bogsneak like her own. To this day, Filipa still adores and treasures the ageing Coatl, grateful for the help she received.
