She greets every guest with the warmest of smiles, the bells on her dress tinkling merrily, even if it is the middle of night and she was awakened by frantic pounding on the door. It only takes moments for them to feel at home, no matter how broken and battered they feel.

Once a reject herself, she welcomes on and all to her inn. Many travelers - or runaways from bad situations - desperately in need of a warm bed and a hot meal have gotten it for free. Her warm hearth, boundless generosity and ever-present welcome has helped many get back on their feet and her inn has provided protection for those who are scared and in hiding. Her poor business sense, however, may have been her downfall if not for the musicians, storytellers and dancers that give shows at her inn and donate the proceeds to her. The day Cassis’ inn closes for good is the day that the Tribe of the Endless Dusk would become a sadder place and there are countless dragons making sure that will never happen. The Beacon Inn has become a symbol of kindness in the most desperate times.
