Virizion

The first thing he saw when he opened his light green eyes for the very first time was a golden Spiral, with unblinking amber eyes and a curious gaze. With a start, he shrank back, surprised and a little threatened. Who is this? Where am I? Who am I? What is this place? A wild jumble of thoughts tumbled their way through his head, leaving him even more disoriented than the first time he opened his eyes. Through the bare branches of the bush he was supposedly in, sunlight filtered in, creating a strange, dizzying mosaic of blinding light that forced him to look straight at the other dragon who stared back with an inquisitive gaze.

"Hey there. Who are you? I'm Goldthorn." Who... am I? Why am I here? And who is Goldthorn? Why is she here? Confused and bewildered by his sudden jolt into this world, along with the whole chain of events that had transpired over the past thirty seconds, the dark green Spiral gave a tiny, hesitant shake of his head.

"I... I'm... I... I don't have a name... I don't know..." He didn't know any reply he could give without having to think of a name, which seemed like the hardest thing ever right then. And so, he broke eye contact with her, in a hope that the curious Spiral would walk away. But truth be told, he himself was curious about her as well.

"Would you like to come back with me?" Goldthorn asked. "You can always stay with us. And then I can give you a name!" Light green eyes widening in surprise, he slowly nodded, crawling out of the branch frame and somehow making his way to the clan where Goldthorn lived (exceptionally good at walking for a newborn).

He was gladly welcomed by the ever-friendly Starfall and Tundra. Goldthorn coined him Virizion, after a mythical creature that supposedly existed deep in the Shrieking Wilds. Very soon, Goldthorn and Virizion moved to Sparkle Reef, the new Water Division territory of the Clan of Shining Stars, and had a nest of three daughters there. One of them went back to Vesuvius Clan as a grown-up.

Now, Goldthorn lives happily with Virizion in Arcane territory, where they first met. Their children roam the vast expanses of the Windswept Plateau.

Lime the playful Noxious Coralclimber can usually be found perched on his forehead, neck or tail, otherwise up to another prank with Dandelion, his mate.
