A softly glowing egg, discovered beneath a pile of rubble--somehow, it was completely unharmed. Whatever was growing inside surely was a strong, fierce being, unwilling to let things bring it down.
Upon bringing it home with the rest of the day's spoils, Demetrii brought it to the hatchling caretakers, as was custom for any eggs found in the territory. Demetrii was a bit angry that the Beastclans would go so far as to abduct an unborn child, but nevertheless, this one would grow up strong, he could feel it.
Yes, indeed, the hatchling was strong, and clearly sought to be a warrior. Even as a newborn, he had extreme luck as well--it seemed life had a long way to go if it wanted to tamper this one's spirits.
Upon seeing himself for the first time, he shook his head. "No, this will never do. I require much more! I will look every bit the part of a graceful, fierce warrior, no matter how long it takes!" he exclaimed. And as such, a pile of scatter scrolls would have to be procured for this picky little hatchling.
