Backstory
"And from that shooting star our leaders were born."

Origins
A streak of light screamed across the sleeping sky, illuminating for a second the stark outline of the Crystalspine Reaches against the galaxy-studded expanse of black. Tail arcing in a graceful trail, it singlemindedly drew ever closer to the pinkish crystalline formations. Then, with not so much as a crash, its iridescence collided with the mountains, nothing left but a few remnant sparkles. Two forms, invisible to the drowsing world, were flung across the land, each landing in the opposite side of the realm. Of course, it was fated that they meet. For after all, it was written in the stars. Meeting Where am I? The furry dragon sat up, an intense migraine inflicted upon him by who-knew-who. Huge paws instinctively scrabbled against the dirt, casting a blind eye to the pain in his head, sending clumps of soil flying as he snuffled for plants that he could eat. For the moment, his growling stomach drove his every action, and ignoring everything else around him, he delved his snout deep into the soil, pulling out a truffle and gulping it down quickly. Satisfied, he licked his chops in glee. Then he heard a voice. "Hey, Pheonix! Where are you?" He did not know where or who that voice came from, but it was then he realised that he needed a name. Then another voice came in. "Coming, you impatient Tundra!" Two dragons came into view, one with fiery red wings flying towards another pink, furry dragon. Similar to himself, he realised. Tundra... Tundra! My name will be Tundra! Then he ambled over to the water's edge, absentmindedly taking a drink from the waves that gently lapped against the shore. Strangely enough, they lacked the saltiness that normal seawater would be expected to have, but tasted a little... sweet? Tundra couldn't be bothered more, and turning, he grabbed another mouthful of grass, settling down on the soft grass patch near the waters. This lifestyle continued for a while, until Tundra felt a sudden urge to explore. Soon, he came across a pink Fae, her blue wings spread majestically as she gathered tree sap. She reminded Tundra of the towering pink mountains that sheltered him, as well as the rippling ocean beyond. So he walked up, and gave the Fae a gentle tap on the shoulder. With a jolt, the Fae whipped around to face him, a startled expression on her face. "Hi." He started simple, his nervousness evident with every word he spoke. "I'm Tundra." Then it struck him that he had just named himself after a dragon breed, as the puzzle pieces were put together at the most inopportune time. "Sorry. I know my name is, like, the worst and most uncreative name in this whole entire planet. But... yeah. I'm not a very good name picker. So... who are you?" |

"Let’s call this the Clan of Shining Stars."
Creation of the Clan
Starfall and Tundra started a new clan, the Clan of Shining Stars, honouring the magical land where they came into existence. Slowly, more dragons flocked to their clan. A place of solace, of friendships, of a close-knit community that became like family. Current Status Eventually, Starfall and Tundra became mates, all their children drawn to serve the Arcanist who watched over their clan. All except one, their eldest hatchling Goldenshore, who stayed in the clan and served as the mage who connected them to their elemental deity, along with another Pearlcatcher named Cherryfrost. Tundra's brain works rather interestingly - sometimes, information gets pieced together at the wrong time, sometimes just in time. He's a little clumsy and forgetful, but never fails to put a smile on any dragon's face. He is in charge of the Clan's hospitality sector, welcoming new dragons to the Clan of Shining Stars with a warm greeting and a big smile. His familiar is called Glare (again, not a particularly imaginative name). Tundra is one of the few dragons it shows affection to. It tolerates the other clan members, but is more than happy to go sit in a corner and observe. Stats Magical Ability Strength Intelligence Charisma Adaptability |
