Born of Nature, Frir always felt like he belonged in the Southern Icefield. His scales and wings shimmered like crystalline ice, but his eyes showed he hailed from the land of the Gladekeeper. It was a major insecurity for him for quite some time, and in fear of being judged, he wallowed in sadness and spent most of his life in solitude -- he never knew a true friend.

Frir was a very small Fae indeed, even for his breed. To see a massive Guardian dragon coming his way was definitely no happy sight for him, and he fainted. But when he woke back up, it was this guardian who had brought him to safety. She smiled to him fondly, and the first words he heard were, "I now know what my Charge is." No dragon didn't know what a Guardian's Charge meant, and Frir smiled with uncontainable joy, and he knew this meant he finally had a friend.

Alongside Sarihlle, he helped her found her clan, Clan Gladehaven, as its second official member. The bond that the two formed led to a comfortable romance, and it was their child who became one of the Clan's earliest members as well: Galaeron. But as the Clan grew, Frir became proud that he was not just a father for one, but for all who inhabited the clan.

Frir, as small and delicate as he was, did not seek to become a fighter like Sarihlle. He embraced his icy complexion and, with a hankering for fun and a touch of the magic of pretend, self-proclaimed himself the Icy King of the Glade. He doesn't consider himself royalty, but likes to have fun and act as if he were. This kind of mentality led him to become a bit of a jokester -- but unfortunately, with the parental theme he and Sarihlle held in the clan, his favorite kind of jokes became dad jokes. Regardless, his clan still admires and respects him as the reason that their clan was founded, and looks to him for his inner warmth and comfort that he now shares with all.

One dragon in particular, Treesong, was the first dragon he himself chose to adopt into the clan. She, like him, looked as if she belonged to a different flight than from where she reigned: she was a Lightning dragon who looked like a lush tree! Knowing her struggle all too well, he took her in and gave her the fatherly pep talk to help her show her eyes to the clan and feel safe from judgement. To this day he considers her his daughter and protects her in his own special way.
