Background
The first of three founders of the Willow Coven. Small in size and big in voice. Being born of colours that resemble a dawn sunrise over a field Solaris takes extreme pride in serving The Lightweaver. Solaris always tries to take charge of a situation and handles it logically. Solaris is at a complete loss when it comes to dealing with the clan’s emotions as she is unable to read the body language of those around her. She looks to her other High Priests and Priestess for the assistance in those matters. “But, how can I listen to them if I don’t understand how they feel. I... I just don’t know how to do this.” - Solaris confessing to Doris
Resurrection: The beginning of the coven
Generations of dragons had been born being sung softly to with the tales of a once magnificent coven settled within the nooks of great willow trees and in the hills of golden fields. The coven had been led by powerful women and men their by their sides to help guide them. Strong warriors were said to stand constantly on guard to protect their high priestesses. Rumors were strung along by these new generations about the covens final known priestess. A dragon whose alignment was not with the Lightweaver nor with the greater good of those who served below her. A dragon who would accept such a role with their soul elsewhere would only wreak havoc. Just days after the new priestess was crowned a great plague that struck the coven wiping out even the most devoted as if to start fresh in new blood. Many only believed the tales to be just that - little tales told to them by their mothers to help pip up their curiosity and to fill their heads to wonder. When the time came for these same dragons to by laid to rest many years later again they were sung about the tales of the coven, only this time around the lyrics sounded more like a chant. As they faded in and out the lyrics guided their mind into detailed hallucinations of great coven leaders welcoming them into their final rest.. Solaris knew this was her end as her family softly chanted around her weakening body. Her heart panged with regret as she could hear the faint cries of her mother behind her. She focused on the lyrics hoping their words would take her away quickly and painlessly. She took what she hoped was her last breath and fell into an abyssal silence. Slowly light flooded into the corners of Solaris's eye and a gentle voice started to tell her tales of a great coven... Solaris gently stirred awake as if were just waking up from a lazy day nap, instead of rising from the dead like she was. With shocked faces all around her, she felt a new sense of belonging and destiny. She knew that soon, within the next couple of years, she would help to resurrect the coven - the same way the coven resurrected her.
Another New Beginning: Love
The Loving tale of Solaris and Lux is a simple one. One warm evening many years ago, both Solaris and Lux and crossed paths for the first time... Lux enjoyed the willow tree field, it was the perfect quiet place to get done some reading and maybe even some writing. His favourite part about the field was that rarely any dragon was there... Solaris had heard about of a field filled with wildlife and willow trees and she was finally here to see it for herself. She barely breathed as she stood in a clearing taking in the amazing sight of the low branches... Usually, Lux would take his time traveling the paths but that evening he had been rushing and was taken aback by a golden fae standing in front of him and dropped his stack of books. Solaris' trance was broken when she heard a gasp and the distinct sound of books crashing to the ground behind her. Sacred, she too dropped her belongings. To this day you can hear them debate on whether it had been an external force like fate, or even just their love of the willow tree field that had brought them together.
