Biography

Head of the Council
- Kind - Outspoken
- Moral - Sensitive
- Selfless to a fault

Tyrian was only a babe when the young prince's kingdom was burned and his family was killed by an enemy kingdom. He was rescued from the flames and carried to safety by a band of Talonoks (Imperial hatchlings aren't lightweight) who thought him a shiny prize but when they realized he was actually a dragon they dropped him off at the feet of Everwinter, a friend of theirs and a convenient dragon, hardly being able to conceal their disappointment that he wasn't a jewel of some sort. Everwinter looked him over with surprise and pity. The young hatchling smelled strongly of the lavender and citrus lotion he was covered in and still clutched a stuffed dragon with gold seaming. Only the burns all over his body and the light scent of smoke on him (even the smell of fire was less strong than the lotion) showed that he was the victim of something horrible.

While Terabithia and Sirka would've adopted him and spoiled him beyond belief, Poinsettia insisted he stay with her until his burns got treated. He remained with her long after he was healed, for he loved her almost as much as she and Keeper loved him and named him Tyrian. Soon after he came, Terabithia and Sirka learned that Tyrian had been betrothed to a princess the same age as him his kingdom was lost. They renewed the betrothal and the young princess Zaneta came to stay with the tribe as well so that the two hatchlings could hopefully form a friendship that would blossom into love. Tyrian had a happy childhood and became very learned in books and in herbs and won the hearts of all he met, except Zaneta. They had hated each other because he claimed she was ridiculous and frilly and put on airs and Zaneta was angry that he didn't act like he was or had ever been a prince. Eventually their arguments settled and they became best friends.

When they were old enough Tyrian and Zaneta wed and had a clutch of two eggs that hatched into two lovely daughters for them. They were the happiest dragons in the world.

(thank you so much, Glisselda, for getting him for me so I could breed my dreamderg!)
