"Could you have done that any louder?"

Her shimmering orbs glanced in the direction of a crew member along the ship, her hat tiled down as she sneered at the dragon; disappointment staining her once monotone features. The dragon in question lowered his head, murmuring a soft apology before returning to the task at hand- looting the haunted ship. At least, that's what the locals liked to say about the ship. Esperanza had never been one to take note of the supernatural, finding most tales only spoke of superstitions to keep the average treasure-goer away, and just as the times before she dove neck deep into the "haunted" ship; eyes looking intently for an interesting glint of the potential treasures that lay in store.

Claws clicked against the creaking wood boards as she walked in the lead, head feathers shuddering under her hat with slight annoyance as she slowly felt the edge of stealth deteriorate. "At this rate we'll wake any bones that were put to rest here, superstition or not." A crew mate tensed at her murmur, however she paid no mind to it as she nudged open a door with the front of her nose. The room was exactly what she had been hoping to find, a captain's quarters littered with goods across a grand desk, other old furnishings covered in cobwebs and dust along the edges of the room.

A smile crept onto her face as she straightened her posture, turning to the crew members that accompanied her before speaking in a hushed glee, "We found what we were looking for." It was then she turned her body completely, raising her voice and signalling the other members on board to group at her position to help with the prize collecting. As others began to slip passed her and into the treasure filled room, she couldn't help but feel the warmth of success within her, for she knew this was just the beginning in a long journey of pirating and treasure hunting.
