Severin is one of the clans gladiator Dragons. The clan has at least one gladiator for each element, so that any threat can be handled. The gladiators trained together to fine tune their skills and group coordination. Coliseum grinding also helps fulfill the clans daily food requirements. Due to it's massive size, the daily Gathering haul in not enough to feed the clan. Severin is a cherished member of the clan due to his skills as a Potions Master. He, and his mate Spiritus are responsible for the entire clans collection of potions, and poisons. Severin also handles most of the potions during Coliseum battles.

Severin has spent his entire life in Ashkaa's clan, having never felt the desire to leave his potions lab for more than Coliseum grinding. He often disappears into his lab for weeks with Spiritus. The two of them spend endless hours toiling over steaming cauldrons, and examining new ingredients.
