Laakari

'The Doctor is in,'

Laakari, her name meaning 'Doctor', is a relatively new addition to Clan Greyjoy.

Drafted in as the Clan's main medical dragon, she strives to provide useful health advice and treatment for the members of the Clan who have either been injured during their runs through the Coliseum or those who have come into contact with any number of Clan Malarias' members.

Laakari comes from a line of Medical Tundras that are native to the Scarred Wasteland. Initially timid, she is friendly and quick to laugh once she opens up. She believes that she has inherited the best qualities of both of her parents and often thinks fondly of them, their eccentricities and their valuable tutelage. It is out of respect for her birth clan that she dons the red hood and boneyard tatters.

Although she sometimes misses the dark and twisted castle that she once called home, she has put her hatchlinghood behind her and accepted her life and duty among the Ironborn. For her, the transition from cannibals to Ironborn has been an easy one -- much easier than for other recruits. The violence and threat that reminds her of home remains ever present, but the circumstances are very different.
