Born to illness, both of her parents were horrified to find that their children were of the Sufferers. Both her and her brother were born with the cursed mark which betrayed the Plaguemother's interest. It started as nothing more than a small bruise, then developed into a red bump and continued to grow into the first of the twin's infectious wounds.

They were exiled from their birthplace and abandoned at the border of their birthrights too late. Their sickness had already spread, infecting the other hatchlings and on to their parents. There was no home to return to even if they could cure themselves. Her brother seemed obsessed with something their mother told him in the throes of fever before she died.

Don't give in, you have a choice. Go to the center of that cursed wasteland, there you will find the cure.

Blyth hardly seemed to care about their new surroundings. She seemed not to hear the echo of loneliness that followed her trail when her brother, too afraid to fly away as she did, was mauled by a ursa soon after entering the vast deserted boneyard. She traveled aimlessly through that land for what seemed like forever, learning to fight the creatures and other dragons when hunger won over her desire to escape. She ate anything she could get her claws into, even those that had succumbed to their particular strands. Her own disease, amplified by consuming the dead and new wounds caused from struggle spread from flesh to flesh.

Finally, years past her brother's death, she emerged from the boneyard, a place of death, into a place of life like she'd never seen before.

Blyth was no longer a hatchling, but a fully-fledged dragoness of a full century, mind tempered with a still madness.

She climbed the mountain and sat in still silence, ignoring any that passed as she contemplated the roiling crater beneath her. She felt no hunger, no need and no fear as time passed.

There, in the center of her banishment, she heard a voice inside, one that gave her purpose and direction. Her true mother called her.

Obtained 09/04/15 as a basic Guardian. Scrolled with Daub immediately. Breed changed to Pearlcatcher, final genes added; Vipera and Smoke. Has been renamed. Has been Scatter-sighted
