PERSONALITY
Irascible and vicious, Murmur has an extremely vulgar way of approaching others. Being around dragons without being angered by their behavior in one way or another is an impossible task, as aggression tends to be the first reaction when experiencing unpleasant situations, instinct which grants the general approval of his "mates" to spend most of his time in complete solitude. However, the extreme lack of interaction with his own kind allows his feral side to become more prominent, often preferring to communicate through growls and snarls. Speaking up only when incited enough to do so, malicious words intended to perturb and alarm listeners are all to ever come out of his mouth, feeling an extreme sense of sadisfaction by asserting dominance through anxiety and fear.
BACKSTORY
Belonging to a low-ranked family, being taken advantage of and hurt by the more important members of his clan was a continuous struggle for Murmur. The small stature and fragility made it easy for bigger dragons to get away with their doings, feeling free to continue injuring the coatl out of pure spite and amusement. Continuing to endure mistreatment until early adulthood, the physical assaults only increased in quantity, until something awakened. A vengeful flame, bigger and scarier than any opponent, gained the strenght to take over. The small dragon roared back, cutting with fangs the throat of his aggressor and fleeing in the silence of the night, endeavouring to distance himself from menace before succumbing to fatigue and faint. Regaining coscience only after hours, Murmur found himself in close proximity to an unknown clan's territory, too injured to allow himself from being sighted by other dragons yet too exhausted to escape any further. Remaining alert in preparation of possible dangers, the wounded coatl wandered through the unknown land in a vain search for food, stumbling upon a concerned clan leader with an inexplicable desire to help out instead. Distrustful of his words, the various attempts to chase away the spiral through growls and warnings revealed to be fruitless, as food was served to him despite the constant spiteful threats. After their first encouter, the little and determined leader began to make numerous efforts to befriend the coatl and include him in the clan, presenting him to the other members with poor results. Only one dragon seemed to have gained Murmur's attention, an imprudent psychologist somehow intrigued by the thought of taming and softening him, an objective which began a complex and detrimental relationship between the two. |
