B I O G R A P H Y

Grey loves to fight. There's nothing like the frozen wastelands to harden a warrior and a good brawl is an excellent way to stay warm. As she got large, fast and strong, her skills made it easy for her to make a living for herself. She fell in with a rough crowd as a mercenary for hire and her skills became sharp as ice, and her heart cold as the sea.

Her jobs led her away from the cold of her youth. Eventually she answered a call for services from a dragon of notorious reputation. The offer was ample,
so she did not question its design. She came to the Dolman clan to help Dirge, and everything changed in her life.

Dirge was a charming host. He suspected a betrayal from his kin and was preparing himself for the necessity of having to destroy his bloodline to maintain his rightful leadership. Grey did not care about his family troubles, as long as she got paid. This was exactly the mentality Dirge was hoping for, so he made her several promises and gave her his trust. It was a trust she had no intention of breaking, as she had never had reasons to care in the past. Then she met Soel.

Dirge's youngest son was free spirit. He took a strange liking to her that none of her harsh rebuttles could disuade. While Dirge finished gathering his bodyguards and Grey was forced to play nice while she waited, she was consistantly subjected to the humour and comradery of the three brothers and Soel's incessant charm. Cracks began to form in her armor. She found herself enjoying the companionship of Dirge's sons too much, and a deep hatred began to form for her employer. The uprising happened just days later. It wasn't until the moment of truth arrived that Grey realized that her loyalties had changed irreversably, and she threw her career away and turned on Dirge. Soel will always tell the story as though she was the deciding strength. In truth, Grey did not believe Dirge could have won. The clan was against him, for just and righteous reasons and driving him out had felt like one of the truest moments in her life.
