A local of Focal Point, Nacre has always had a thirst for knowledge. After becoming a full-fledged Mage, Nacre traveled to the Tangled Wood in the hopes of learning witchcraft. He had a theory that not only could one practice both magical arts, but that the two were much more connected than people wanted to admit.

It took a while, but Nacre found a teacher in the wood: the young witch Gumdrop, who offered to teach him witchcraft if he taught her magecraft. Nacre eagerly agreed- after all, two magic users practiced in both arts would make his theory much harder to ignore!

As the two shared their knowledge, they found in each other a kindred spirit; later, a deep romance. The two married after a year, continued their studies in Tangled Wood for another three, and moved to Starfall fairly recently. The Clan's openess to both magecraft and witchcraft made them eager to join, and the two were quickly initiated.

Although Narce and Gumdrop are fairly new to the clan, their experience in both magical arts have made them invaluable mediators between the Circle and the Coven; soon after they joined the Clan, they were offered spots on the Council. While the first couple of weeks were a bit tense, they are now some of the most well-respected members.
