Biography

MINEA
[ flame • shaker ]

patron of volcanoes | x, x, x

They call them the Titans: primordials whose essences are connected to the earth, to the lands of Sorneith without any touch of dragonkind. This has led many to believe the Titans were created together such as the wind primordials were or even the splitting of the Astronomer's heads, but any such tale is just a myth. In truth, the Titans were born independent of one another and named for their collective attributes far later by the gods' children; they did not create the lands they preside over, but invigorate them, maintaining Sorneith's natural ecosystem while the deities look elsewhere. Many of the Titans will travel between domains across the globe, visiting different mountain ranges or canyons or rivers in turn, though others have found themselves a permanent dwelling whose natural splendor they guard like nymphs. Only sometimes do the Titans gather, typically for matters of global importance. However as regal as they seem, they are just as inclined as mortals to become wrapped up in petty matters, particularly where the nature of their domains are not so clear cut.

Minea was born of the most vile hatred between the Earthshaker and Flamecaller; her fully-formed body came from puddled lava, like angry pustules grown between the magic of the gods. Though her range home rested along the Tangled Woods and Dragonhome, the Earthshaker had long treated her as an enemy of the Earth and driven her deeper into the Shadowbinder's land. Those who traveled high enough in the mountains could be misfortunate enough to encounter her: a peculiar vessel with a skull-face and downed in burning feathers and chains. Her existence bothered her cavernous half-sister the Shadowshaker, who sought to displace her from living near her own home caverns.
