Born to a wealthy imperial family, Hope came to Lunar Point as a sign of peace between the city and her birth clan. Hope soon warmed up to the city, and became a favorite of Selene's. She and the queen grew to become close friends, and Hope is now Selene's confidant and Lady in Waiting. Though this makes the relationship somewhat lopsided, Hope doesn't really care, as she knows that Selene is busy and does what she can to help, including be her secretary or simply a friend that Selene can stand by. In fact, she is the royal family's godmother, and plays an active role in their lives as an aunt figure. Hope is understanding and patient. She knows when Selene needs a break and ensures that the queen gets said break. Constantly kind to those around her, Hope is almost like the sister Selene never had, and the two are often found attached at the hip both on and off the clock. From royal gatherings to just wandering the city, the two are thick as thieves. She's the only one who can get Selene to let go of her regal persona for a little while.
