HISTORY
Ignacia was one of three in her clutch, her father being the clan's ruler. She was never particularly close with any of her siblings, whether they were hatchmates or not, so when they all moved on from their home she was able to get over it quickly, left with only a slight tingle of nostalgia in the future. She embraced the life of a dragon in the fire flight, working hard at her forge through the day and well into the night.As her skills increased, her desire to be more adventurous with both her materials and environment grew as well. She traveled around, carrying only her tools and some rare ores only found in the Ashfall Waste. Ignacia backpacked through the Shifting Expanse, experimenting with the sand there, and on through the Sunbeam Ruins, utilizing the intense light there to make a solar powered forge. She eventually reached the Tangled Wood, possibly her biggest challenge yet. She learned to make use of the thick brush to feed her flames, but due to how dense the forest is, controlling it was difficult. Ignacia built her forge under a rocky outcrop, with a roaring fire kept going constantly. The noise caught the attention of a nearby clan, who she learned was called Vespertine. She assured them she was no danger, and though they quickly scampered off, she suspected that they continued to monitor her from the cover of the darkness she was unfamiliar with. The darkness hovering at the edge of her flames grew to her unnerve her, and when Vespertine warriors extended an invitation to join their clan, she quickly accepted to ensure protection for herself. As time went on, Ignacia grew fond of the clan who adopted her. Lethe, though distant and oftentimes distracted, welcomed her, and thus melted any resistance the other clan members had to her. |

PERSONALITY
Ignacia is stubborn, short-tempered, distrustful, and passionate. She has very little patience for anything outside of her work, and her easy frustration makes interaction awkward. She avoids her clanmates in favor of her forge. Because she works nonstop, her work is invaluable to the clan, and despite living in a shadow clan, she still holds such a fire-centric personality that she became the representative. Vespertine rarely interacts with those of Ignacia's old flight, so her official job doesn't get in the way of her metalworking much.Ignacia practically lives within the small cave holding her forge. It is in a secluded area, only hinted at in the distance by the red glow in the midst of the dark forest. Most of her visits are only for specific requests, like tools and weapons, although Lethe occasionally stops by, as well as Laeios. Laeios finds it hard to live in a clan constantly shrouded in darkness, so she comes to the forge for comfort in the flickering light of Ignacia's flames. They both find validation in each other's preference for light, leading to a sort of tenuous friendship between the two, which was the most Ignacia ever had for several years due to her self-imposed solitude. |
