Inventive, peaceful, shy
Guardian dragons may be the children of the Tidelord, but they're not ideal swimmers. Their many flanges and frills slow them down and prevent them from moving quickly. Faron loves the water, so he created a workaround for his handicaps.
Instead of focusing on agility, he's chosen a line of work that is slow and methodical. He dives into the sea and sinks to the bottom, folding his wings and fins in tightly. He then strolls across the sediment like a hippo, fishing out valuable artifacts, pretty shells, and clams. Faron can hold his breath for a long time, making him perfect for the role.
His charge is a statue he found submerged in the muck. It was exposed after a storm, and if he hadn't taken it, it would have been lost to the elements. It's made of worn marble and resembles a standing humanoid figure, probably dating back to the Second Age.
