Biography

Plutus: Greek god of wealth.

Clan Warrior

Harsh, stubborn, snide, untrusting, secretive, vengeful.

Rumors spread through the clan, but no one seems to truly know where Plutus came from. Some whisper that he blew in with a Wasteland sandstorm, flakes of snow dotting the sky as if it had once been a blizzard. Others claim he was chained away in some forgotten, desolate place and was freed by Scythe, thus earning his loyalty. Regardless of the stories, one thing was certain: Plutus appeared abruptly and with mystery.

Only Scythe knew of the Imperial's origin. He was a king from the Icelands, a tundra as harsh and violent as the Wasteland his new clan called home. With the need to survive, Plutus ruled his clan with a brutal iron claw that earned him begrudging respect among the other hardened members of his original home. But fate has as much a hold on the living as will, and it was in the wake of a blizzard that the attack came.

His clanmates slaughtered, Plutus could no longer stay in the frozen expanse of Ice he was born to rule. He traveled for what seemed months, finally collapsing in exhaustion among the outskirts of the Wandering Contagion. Here, Scythe found him and offered him food. Stubborn as he was, Plutus was too starved to refuse the offer. Scythe then offered him shelter, and the Imperial could not deny that it was needed in this foreign, dangerous land. Lastly, upon observing the blood coating his wolf coat and form, Scythe grinned and offered him vengeance. Plutus has been loyal to the Ridgeback since.

Now, the Imperial serves in Scythe's growing army of misfits and heathens, opting to obey instead of lead for the first time in his life. He could care less about the change in status quo, however. The only thing Plutus cares for is the blood of those who wronged him.
