Caring || Peaceful || Gentle "Where flowers bloom so does hope."  Theme Song It is a common misconception in the Wastelands that gentleness and patience are a sign of weakness. When tomorrow isn't guaranteed, why wait to do anything? When the world will swallow you up if you don't beat it into submission, why be still and soft? Hera was not born to this life, and it shows. Her beginning was marked by the scent of growing things, by the crunch of pine needles beneath her claws. Her eyes first saw the dim glow of lambent mushrooms illuminating her surroundings.  She had always known that the best things in life were worth waiting for. It was the first time she entered this pulsing, scarred place, that she learned that they are also worth fighting for. She found her clan by chance, or by the luck of the shadows- it depends on who you ask. She was shocked and overjoyed when she found that they had a garden of all things. She would go there whenever she found herself missing the dark freshness of her old home. It was during one of these visits that she met the gardener. He showed her how he coaxed green things to grow without the magic that would anger the Plaguebringer. It wasn't long before they discovered that she had a talent for it. Patience came naturally to her, and perennials became her favorites to work with. Her clanmates left her to it, as food became even more bountiful with two gardeners. Some even admitted that the duo, soft though they were, certainly weren't useless or weak.  |
