Biography
A wandering guardian of the Clan. Fierce and independent, but also vulnerable and sensitive, with the former possibly created by the latter.
Very curious about Dolphin's preachings about the empire under the sea, and perhaps the most enthralled by him of all the dragons, even bordering on infatuation. Whether this will turn to good or ill remains to be seen; Dolphin isn't malicious, however his personality isn't always the most noble, either. Taking into consideration, too, Redhawk's prestigious bloodline and the weight placed on her as a result, only time may tell how her enamorment may conflict with Banner's expectations.
Some of Redhawk's idolization of Dolphin is due in part to more than just her impressionable youth, but also those same expectations previously mentioned. Banner's judgmental shadow is a tall one to live up to, and her father is largely absent from her life, in addition to not being a great role model anyway.
“You’ve betrayed me!” Dolphin spat, whipping around to face her. “ALL of you!”
“You?!” Redhawk gaped. “I’ve been with you this whole time!”
“ALL of you are complacent in this,” he hissed, an uncharacteristic snarl parting his lips. “You could have stopped this!”
Redhawk stared, aghast. “I….” she stammered, unable to find any words. What had happened to him? What happened to the dragon she’d known? To the dragon she’d respected, followed, idolized? Where was he?! What happened?
But Dolphin wasn’t done. He looked positively predatory, almost deranged. His eyes seethed with a fury and betrayal that she couldn’t even process. In this moment, he hated her, his most loyal follower. “This is your fault,” he growled, voice deathly low. At this, Redhawk could no longer take it.
“My fault? My fault?!” And suddenly the dam broke. “I have been your most loyal follower this entire time!” she shouted. “I’ve done everything I could to help you, I’ve pushed, I’ve encouraged, I’ve researched, I’ve done everything in my power! And you have the gall to tell me it’s my fault?!” Redhawk felt the surge of anger rising higher and higher, years of repressed feelings spilling over in an instant. Of all the things to say…he had crossed a line. And she would not tolerate it any longer. “This isn’t your clan, Dolphin! Nobody’s betrayed ANYONE! This was never set in stone, and you should have known that! Sometimes things change, and that sucks, but this isn’t okay! What about the others?! What about all the ones who couldn’t have lived underwater even if they’d tried? Water may be your home, but this is the way it is. Nobody’s keeping you from going home. You could leave right now, and we’d welcome you back at any time with open arms.” Redhawk felt her wings drooping, as hollowness filled the void where her anger had been. “Maybe it’s not your home here,” she rasped, “but now it’s everyone else’s. And that’s fine.”
Dolphin’s gaze was unreadable, and Redhawk felt a glimmer of fear. Had she gone too far? Then with a roar he whipped around and bolted into the sky, disappearing into the plumes of smoke and leaving Redhawk alone in the ash.

APRIL 2, 2018: Quickly becoming a prominent member of the Firelight Promenade, Redhawk has taken up the mantle as the caretaker of the Phoenix, the symbol of the clan. This puts her more at odds with Dolphin, who continues to cling to every scrap of his heritage that he can. As Redhawk sides more and more with the alignment of Fire, the distance between them gets exponentially greater. Redhawk seems to have little connection with her charge; she seems to view the phoenix's care with guarded apathy, as a chore, rather than an honor. And so a new question arises - why is someone previously so loyal to Dolphin, with every and another reason to break away from her clan, slowly taking their side?
Who's really being hurt here? And who's the good guy?
