Biography

"First and Foremost, Let It Be Known Well This Inarguable Truth. . .

I AM A FREAKING GOD

And by that I DO just mean it as a silly battle cry. . . Though, I'll admit, over time I have found it to hold more credence than it ought to.

I was given away from my home of frost and freezing expanses, seen as expendable, unremarkable by the standards expected of the litter I was born to. Almost abandoned, when it seemed no other of my kin would take me, a tall, blue creature had come forth.

While I later learned the creature to be a dragon, like myself, only with a remarkably soft coat rather than clear scales like my own, at the time, I thought I would have a short life, and a tumultuous one at that, as what I would learn was called a 'Tundra' carried me almost as though a parcel, through many places I have yet to find again in my own ventures into the world as an adult. When I was placed down, I thought the red Tundra I saw was a living fire. . . Her fur was, and IS quiet warm and cozy.

In exchange for shelter, food and care, my only obligation was to protect her clutch of eggs when she needed to hunt or check on something. When adult dragons ventured in, those who would become my friends later in life, I. . . do admit, I hid. I wasn't noticed much until I started growing, but that is for another time.

I noticed it when one day, in training, soon after I had seemed to reach my maximum potential for strength and accomplished neigh impossible feats alongside 2 Spirals who I wonder how they haven't wound-up tied up into one big knot by now from their bickering. Being at the center between them, I was the first to spot the fallen artifact back then, in the Bamboo Woods. What creature had discarded it in attempts to distract us from battle and flee, I forget now, but never will I forget the feeling of its raw power as it lay there, glowing red from its own light, almost otherworldly.

Opal warned me not to touch it. Of course she did, its Opal, annoyingly-practical advice is what she does best (well that and save our hides ever single time).

My gaze was stuck to it, however, and nothing was getting between me and the insatiable urge to just. . . touch it.
A habit I have yet to grow out of ^^;;

In doing so, that light flared, like fire but without the stinging heat, and all the raging force. It ended quickly, almost anticlimactically, and before anything could occur, the artifact crumbled into scattering dust, hollow and worthless. What I failed to know then was the gift bestowed upon me, beyond noticing how my legs and respectfully-attached extremities tingled oddly.

It was only when facing down a stubborn foe in the cool-breezed Crystal Pools did I first see first-hand the devastation I could now wreak, with a finality that was absolutely stunning. . .

Well, aside from the times it failed, in which case the mockery abounds I can assure you. The weaker the enemy to dodge, the more irritating it is!

Regardless, over this time, I have seen many an unwavering foe, greater than any I could have ever hoped to match in a fantasy dream- I have seen the crumble to the ground, battered, bruised, and retreating with what little energy they can muster from injured bones and strained muscles. The looks of respect, the looks of fear, and simply the times the darn beast have i n s i s t e d on following me HOME after such defeats.

It simply boggles me. To, no end, really. Amber adores it, I can tell, to see such behemoths crawling with curious, overly-trusting young all over them, using them as practice to climb, to play or play fight (the little, valorous nuggets)- the sheer audacity makes me laugh!

Now, in this time that I have brought down nearly every challenge brought upon me, I thought it might be time to give myself the credit. To let it be known my strengths- mainly so I can have something to DO.

There are many out there, with Lair smaller and warriors fewer than my own home. And I would not see any harm in offer to teach and guide them along the way to becoming stronger, for the sake of protecting those they love, as I do my own. . .

Well! Glad to get that out of the way! now, if you'll excuse me, there's a towering monstrosity in the Ghostlight Ruins who's faces have my name written all over them to get a-pummeling to."
