Alucard is unnerving to say the least, few dragons can stand to be in his presence and ever fewer claim to enjoy his company. This suits him fine, he largely disdains the dragons in his clan, with a few notable exceptions. One such exception is the matriarch herself - no one is quite sure what she did to earn his respect and no one is sure they want to know. Regardless, her orders are the only ones he follows, he may test the boundaries every now and then but in the end he will always do as she bids.

Another exception would have to be Alexander, Alucard is fascinated with him and for good reason. Alex is one of the only dragons who can stand beside Alucard (another is Guts, but strangely Alucard has only shown passing interest in him) in battle without faltering.
