It was easy, too easy. Like swiping a pearl from a hatchling. He let out a maniacal string of laughter as he looked out to the bay where the winds swirled and howled, all thanks to his adviser Fannar. He had just performed the perfect coup, no deaths and complete obedience afterward, though that glory belongs to Byte for her invention to wipe the minds of the older clanmates of what had transpired. He soon lost the want to laugh as he looked down to the port town of Eyvindr, the town that was once so friendly to the world outside of the clan. He would have to change everything that the port stood for because that clan is dead.

He could order part of the clan to burn the town down, and let those who come to the island believe that the clan had passed. But what if they decide to try and find life further in the island? Then what, they'd be found and he'd be at the stake. Maybe he could get Eldr and Fannar to begin to work together to create some sort of magical barrier that could be powered through a machine without wearing out Fannar's magic. That could work! He'd have to get them on the job here soon, who knows when they might break through.
