Born from a breeder pair, he was given the name Assam Tea, with high hopes from everyone that he'd be in the tea-making business. He was trained in becoming a butler, but he resisted and ran away. A few times.. He was always brought back, until one day, they made him pack up his stuff and put him in the Auction House. Like his brothers and sisters, he was destined to become a tea making butler, a pretty thing to look at, or exalted. He accepted the fate he was given, unsure of what was to come. A merchant from the Stormtide Clan saw "Assam Tea" and rushed off bringing a black and yellow fae, who looked at him then talked to the seller. The seller let him out, handing papers to the fae, she looked at the Coatl and asked, "What do you want to do if you could do anything?" These words gave him hope.


He looked at the fae and thought about it, he wasn't really sure. He told her of his tinkering in his free time, how he was able to make small old engines work. He showed her his designs for mechanical wings to help those with trouble. The fae listened to him quietly, letting him really speak his mind for the first time. The fae called a green spiral over, "Fredrick, can you bring him to our home?" "Of course milady, doyouneedhelpwithyourstuff?" Before he had time to respond his stuff was being held by the spiral. None the less, he headed home with the over excited spiral.
