PERSONALITY:
At any given time, Warder is probably trying to avoid something or someone. He's a mess, though he's getting better at hiding it. He can even convince some that he's totally normal. Putting his camera-golem between himself and the world helps him distance himself from it. He's bad at eye contact, otherwise, and always tries to avoid conflicts.

He prefers crunchy things to mushy things, and has a soft spot for rock candy. Although he's a Bogsneak, he was born a Tundra and vastly prefers plants to meat. His parrot and his golem are his best friends, though Garruk is pretty cool, too.

HISTORY:
Warder's parents tried, not too long before his hatching, to arrest and imprison the entirety of Clan Stormbay. They were unsuccessful, and ended up unceremoniously dumped on their rears with nothing but their own hides. All this, before Warder ever saw the outside of his eggshell. His egg wasn't yet hatched when the victorious clan found it searching through the Curator's things.

Just one egg, the lone legacy of a pair of vicious schemers. A handful of voices said they ought to smash it, or leave it on a cliff for the harpies. Warder learned much later that Beyla was the one who shut them all down. Instead, the egg was kept as an orphan and ward of the clan.

Beyla and then-leader Thunderbird were the only ones there for Warder's hatching. Although Beyla was technically assigned to his care, she was busy and often away. Warder considers them both his moms, though. They kept his heritage from him, out of worry, but it didn't last long. Many in the clan looked at him with distaste, and soon enough someone told him the truth.

Unsettled by the discovery, and miserable in his inability to do anything, Warder found someone who could change him. A new breed of dragon had been discovered, and the recipe for a transformation was made public. Warder was able to get a fairly cheap commission, as it was the alchemist's first try with the recipe and there were bound to be side-effects.

Ultimately, the transformation was mostly good. It failed to completely rid Warder of his fur, but for the most part he was a new dragon. He hoped it would help; Stormbay's the only home he's ever known and although not everyone was very nice he didn't want to leave it.

CURRENT PLOTS:
Warder is a professional photographer, and amateur journalist. He's much, much worse at the latter since it involves getting in peoples' business and there are some people who he's frankly terrified of. He prefers just wandering around capturing fleeting moments, which can sometimes be mistaken for skulking.

RELATIONS:
Terrified of Hong, who gave him the scars on his leg. She claims it was an honest accident, but still.

Sometimes hides in Karios' bookstore. The Imperial doesn't exactly enjoy it, but he doesn't mind it either. So long as Warder doesn't mess with the books.
