Archivist and Manipulator of Light
Some people simply need a calm voice, a gentle touch, and someone to call them part of their family. In Notus Silver, that dragon tends to be Polaris, a worldly-traveled and magically-inclined Snapper who had helped guide her clan to the barren north. Devoted to her duties, Polaris maintains the archives of Notus Silver, documenting the clan's history alongside her companion, Cayenne.
It is said that the two are like the sun and moon. Cayenne awakens from dusk to dawn, Polaris from dawn to dusk, but during times of overlap, the two have grown to be not simply close, but deeply, deeply in love. Polaris works in recording the past, Cayenne documents the present and dreams of the future. Together, they are currently working to build themselves a new observatory, aided by those the clan has met in Dragonhome.
Most days, Polaris can be found near a small cave that she has claimed as her study, and the clan's hatchlings are encouraged to head over and speak with her for the sake of history lessons. It's a shame that Polaris tends to ramble on about the past - Her passion isn't always appreciated by others, and she can drive them off quickly if they know she'll be on about something for a long time. When her students remain, however, they often find that her passion is contagious, and when all is said and done, those who return to Polaris will find that her experiences make for fascinating tales.
