"I'm not lost. I do not know where I am going in order to be lost." Her legs did her the favor of finally giving out and she sat and rested. "Although, I do know what I am looking for. I need shelter. New shelter. Or old shelter, depending on who's perspective. But for me, it will have to be new. Shelter with food, drink, and medical care." She rasped out as though she wasn't in any kind of terrible condition. She swallowed down more water.

Kinath didn't much care about the quality of the waterskin, he'd plundered it from attacking beastclans. So longnecks had talented leathersmiths, good to know. The three mirrors stared blankly at the wildclaw as it chattered on as if they couldn't hear.

The blood speckled one cackled
"They talk sort of like you Fudgeripple when you get into one of your moods."

Fudgeripple sneered "I... I only do that to remember things so I may write them down later! Besides, this sounds more like snapper talk, you know how they get into their dream states and it's impossible to wake them until they stop."

Kinath sighed, there was no keeping them quiet, he should've taken someone else. "We will not kill you, if we were still in that business even, you'd have nothing worth taking and why spend the energy on an act the Shattered Plain will do for us? We are the night guard for the clan of Painted Stone, it is going to be dark soon and it would be best if you aren't out at that time, we can offer you shelter..." the other two mirrors cackled like Hainus. "As you can see, we do that for all sorts."

"Yes, I figured I would not be killed." Veirl nodded in thought. She was exhausted quite frankly, and the idea that already, a place to stay for the night has been offered so readily was more than welcomed. "I don't see. I don't understand what you're talking about, but I accept."

She paused and considered her options from here, albeit out loud. "At this point, what do I do, though? This is the first group of dragons that have offered shelter. What did I do that succeeded in this happening? Do I ask if I can just stay in their lair? Does that require asking to join a clan? A clan I know nothing about other than there's a night shift group of mirrors in armor? I suppose they're not strange though. But do I know what strange is? Do I know what is acceptable behavior and what's not? What did I do correct here and how do I respond?" She muttered quietly on for a bit. "Anything beats being clanless." She paused again. "Well that's not true." Her thoughts went back to her eye and the last thing it saw being a clansmate. "But do I have much of a choice?"

Taking another swig, she stood up with the help of her tail. "I would like to also negotiate staying for a longer time." She stated with clarity to whichever of the three were actually listening. "To live. I do not know the requirements for this but I would like to discuss this once you show me to your lair."
