Biography
................ |
After the sky is bruised
In all shades of red and blue, And before the sun has grew, From the Keeper's leafy brood. The bruises fade to ink, And the window to beyond opens, creating our celestial link. But as if the black were just a mask Over a blinding sky of light; A child stumbled 'cross, Poking holes in endless night. | ......... |
And yet, behold, these rips
In the pure facadè, Gives us a grip, On things beyond and odd. Their shine glares down on sullen world, Until the heavenly clock is wound, For things as ethereal As these windows to everything away, Means that eventually, wonder Will not be here to stay. |

Titan Asteria
Goddess of Fallen Stars
Once, upon a dream, there was a youthful Titan Goddess.
She ruled within the Realm of the Stars, watching Sornieth from above.
She simply sat, watching in a soft silence, aiding those who prayed to the sky.
Millennia of watching had fostered an odd affection for Sornieth in Asteria
Simply watching was no longer enough to satisfy her desires.
Soon, she had decided to explore the world she'd been watching for so long.
One fateful day, Asteria came down from the sky, disguised cleverly as a bright, falling star.
Having seen the Goddess' fall, a young Guardian named Ashes went to find her.
Soon, the dragon had found the Fallen Goddess; however, fall had wounded her badly.
Out of sympathy for the Fallen One, who had assumed the form of a youthful Snapper,
She lifted her onto her back, and carried her to her lair, within the Ashfall Wastes.
Asteria lived within the clan for months, finding her place in its order.
However, she couldn't hide who she was, even if she had tried.
The intricate markings on her body and wings, and the shimmering,
wing-like appendages gracing her head, as well as her odd,
rather impressive displays of magick; all revealed just who she was,
yet, the clan seemed rather indifferent. She had been so kind,
and offered such support that, really, she could be anything,
and the clan would have still accepted her.
Having finally felt the affection she'd been watching others
receive on Sornieth for so many millennia from the night sky,
Asteria couldn't bring herself to leave the clan anymore,
even if her rightful place was within the sky, among the stars.
The Ridgebacks loved to talk about the water and sea,
yet neither she nor them could swim, despite their colorations.
The soft-spoken, polite dragons were simply too
nice to leave alone, like before. All the others there,
too; they were all so full of potential, and she could hardly
bring herself to leave them; any of them.
Having finally chosen to stay among the clan,
Asteria allowed herself to be ranked, a Blue Birdskull Necklace
being given to her for her impressive magick power.
Although, she stares up at the stars, wondering just how
well the other Gods and Goddesses are doing, far above them,
she has no regrets about her decision; even if it meant being
so far from the stars she used to dance amongst.
