Conundrae

The only surviving hatchling from a nest of abandoned eggs found on the border of the Tangled Wood and the Viridian Labyrinth, Conundrae was adopted and raised by a small clan. From an early age she had learned the values of the clans of the Viridian Labyrinth - to be kind to others, to care for those around her who needed a little extra love in their lives. Once she came of age, however, her unusually adventurous spirit took over and she left her clan, wandering across the realms until she found herself in the Starfall Isles. Perhaps drawn by the mystical energy of the arcane elemental which called this corner of the realm home, she settled in and quickly found herself drawn to a small clan of all breeds of dragons. Still mourning the loss of one of the clan’s progenitors to the services of the Arcanist, they accepted her in the clan and soon adopted her as a capable leader and mentor to their remaining progenitor. Upon approval of the whole clan by vote, she helped moved them back closer to her homeland, setting up a new lair among the ancient deep forests of the Shrieking Wilds.

Nearly two years had passed since Conundrae had joined the clan. She had grown to love the ragtag group, their colorful heritage helping the clan to remain strong and united even as the lands around them had begun to suffer from the heat wave that had swept the area. She particularly had come to trust in the counsel of her dear friend Kataba, the Imperial seer who had saved the clan the very first night they had met. So when the elder dragon awoke her in the middle of the night after a disturbing vision, Conundrae knew what had to be done. The two alerted Dragonia, the clan’s progenitor, and together they began the preparations for their clan’s move to the Leviathan Trench in the Sea of a Thousand Currents.
