"You think that jewels and gold are all you need, but nought good comes from a dragons greed." - Sylva "Ahh, I can tell just by looking at her that she's got a good heart. She's certainly different from that mate of hers, but... Well, they suit each other. They share the same goal of keeping the forests safe - admirable, to say the least. I'm glad they found each other. Never one without the other, no?" "Magic isn't all that uncommon, but I do prefer ones that heal and protect rather than ones that inflict pain. I'm sure her magic can go both ways, but I can't imagine such a sweet girl harming anyone. I... do believe that her type of power can also be used to preserve, right? It's only a blind guess, of course, seeing that the flowers she wears don't seem to be affected by the harsh, cold winds. Besides, she has that brute of a mate to keep her safe... Uhh, don't tell him I said that..." - Michelangelo Past Sylva was born and raised in a small clan in the Viridian Labyrinth. She spent her youth helping her parents with their day to day chores such as farming and gardening, and when she had time to herself she loved exploring a little ways past their clan's territory to see what new things she could find. She was a ray of sunshine, as her parents often described her, and said that there would always be flowers blooming wherever she went. She was truly a child of the forest. Over time the seclusion of the forest grew too much for Sylva, and a yearning for exploration stirred in her heart. Her parents gave her their blessing, and once preparations were complete she set out for adventure. Sylva travelled far and wide, discovering things that her younger self couldn't even begin to imagine, and she loved every second of it! From the warm rays of the Sunbeam Ruins down to the burning lava fields of the Ashfall Waste Sylva discovered that flowers bloomed even in the harshest environments, and it made her heart sing. She even got a few flower souvenirs, not to mention tips and tricks from locals - so much so that she began a flower pressing journal to keep track of the ones she had received. What more could she find if she wandered a little further? Would she ever find someplace where not one thing grows? Or somewhere where everything thrived? What kind of forests were out there, and what did they hold? These are but a few of the many questions that swam in her head, and she was excited to learn more. On her journey she met another Wildclaw, Nemus. The male seemed rather distraugt and, being the kind girl that she was, took the time to help him out. He had a bit of trouble expressing himself at first but Sylva was patient and she soon found out that his aspiration was similar to hers, but things weren't going so well for him. She couldn't stand seeing such a glum and sorrowful face on him, so she did her best to brighten his day - and it worked! It took a bit more encouraging than usual, but her smiles and words worked well enough, and soon Nemus seemed to feel much better. As thanks for helping him pick himself up, the male Wildclaw offered to accompany her to her next destination in the Southern Icefields. She accepted Nemus' offer, and in their time together Sylva quickly found a mate in him. Now the two live happily in the Haven, a clan who, despite the cold and harsh environment, welcomed them with warm smiles and open arms. Never did she ever think that she'd settle down with another, but the male Wildclaw always made her feel so safe and special. She knew that if she ever was in danger, Nemus would always be there to protect her. Relations Sylva is always open for conversation, but nothing compared to being alone with her love, Nemus. On most afternoons the two can be found curled up in the middle of their small garden, exchanging soft words to one another. Sure they were completely different, but that contrast was what made her feel special. The fact that he's normally serious and aloof to others yet gentle and sweet to her proved how much the male cherished her, and Sylva knew that he would forever be by her side.
