Moonglow--A Mysterious Omen

“He’s a bit...dull.” The voices said around him. His instinct told him that it was parents, primarily his father. “Like mother, like son?” The motherly voice said. “I guess,” his father, “but his new home might not be as forgiven. Monochromatic Coatls are apparently bad omens, you know?” “That’s funny,” his mother laughed, a soft, sweet laugh. Like bells, “I’m pretty sure you're the only bad omen to ever happen to me.” “Sweetie, I don’t think it works like that.” “Sure it does,” that beautiful, motherly laugh, “Moonglow. That’s what I’m naming him. My sweet little Moonglow, you are the best omen to ever happen to me.”

Moonglow is sly, sneaky and mysterious. Often peeking around corners and sneaking up on his fellow clanmates is just a habit of his, and he doesn’t mean to do it creepily or on purpose. In reality, he is just an antisocial little Coatl, perhaps coming from his almost monochromatic colors, and isn’t usually engaged in the social network that is the clan. He has a fraternal twin sister, named Ravencourt, who is practically the opposite of Moonglow. In fact, the small pink satchel Moonglow carries around is a special gift his sister gave him. Inside the bag he holds all sorts of precious memories he has collected over the years. Quite often dragons wonder where he got most of those things, contributing to his mysterious personality.

Often just a background character, Moonglow practices magical arts alone, but is always eager to impress his sister. He admires the Arcanist and his abilities, yet isn’t so fond of space and cosmic themes and loves his home in the plaguelands. Despite his earliest memory of his parents, he has never been excluded from any clan due to being a “bad omen”. Now while the clan may try to include him to make sure he doesn’t feel like what his father feared, he has been considered mysterious by his clan. Magical arts, a mysterious bag and talltale omens makes him a most mysterious character.
