Most of the time, no one notices Aurelia, the silent, gilded shadow of her brilliant queen. In social situations, she just averts her eyes, and when directly addressed, she can barely even stammer a single word. However, an entirely different creature surfaces at any perceived threat to the queen. In battle, Aurelia is ruthless, headstrong, and occasionally vicious. She is prized for the sheer power of her blinding light attacks, but if an enemy could withstand those, she would be willing to tear them apart with tooth and claw. In support of Sitara, she helped slay many of their clanmates. Their cries still haunt her, despite the reassurances. At these times, her tendency to neglect herself is more prominent than ever. When injured, she patches herself up with the pearly saliva that covers her body. Despite doctors' advice to stop and the memories that seep into her dreams, Aurelia is resigned to the damage she does to herself as long as it serves the interests of her queen. |
