Tennul often disappears for long stretches at a time, and no one knows where it is that he goes.

Sometimes he is only gone for a few hours, but sometimes he is gone for days, weeks, even months at a time.

But he always returns, safe and sound.

Renyor does not feel the need to question him on his whereabouts, and some in the Clan whisper that the only one who knows where he ventures off to is his mate, Ophelia, who is also Renyor's daughter.

Sometimes Ophelia disappears with him, though on these trips they always return within a few days, and always make sure to let the rest of the clan know when they will be back.

Tennul tells nothing of these ventures to anyone who asks, though he has promised to explain one day, when things are ready.

Until then, his clan mates will have to wonder and speculate to themselves about what sort of things he gets up to when he disappears into the black of the sea.
