I promise, I'll be here until the end.

Elegy was the first hatchling to be born in the Abersteth Citadel. After the cataclysmic destruction of the Deepden Citadel in the Carrion Canyon, morale was far too low and the atmosphere far too tense for most of the survivors to even think about brooding over a nest.
Years passed, construction was underway, and finally two of Abersteth's senior warriors-- the same ones who suffered so many losses at the fall of Deepden-- settled down enough to have another nest.
When only one egg was created, they took it to be a sign that this would be their last clutch.

Elegy has since grown past his somber beginnings; he is very quiet, introspective, and at times he seems impassive, but nonetheless other dragons find him to be pleasant company.
He is often seen wandering through the Citadel's outer tunnels alone, and during holidays he carries a pouch full of trinkets, morsels, incense, and various other offerings to leave at any accidentally-disturbed tombs.
Sometimes, if someone happens upon him, they can hear him speaking softly as he makes his rounds. Some dragons even say they hear him singing.
It's Complicated...
This quartet of magicians have been friends since their hatchling days. Nowadays, they can scarcely imagine life without one another.
