Another sleepless night.
By habit, I look up to the comforting twinkle of the stars.
... and as always, there are no stars to be seen.
My sky is hollow, just like me.

As I stare towards the sky,
I can almost feel myself sink into that rippling abyss.
and I can't help but wonder...
Was this the price of loyalty?

Perhaps I truly was blinded by desperation,
and that's when my fate was sealed.

A corruption from within.

Still, I cannot concede.
Like the shadow bound to its caster, I will always be by your side.
