Bouquet

My Story So Far:

So it begins. I was born to loving, if not unlikely, parents. I was raised more by my clan than them, but they did what they could with what they had. My owner named me Bouquet, as she felt that my appearance fit the springtime blooms she had quite nicely.
Now, I am grown, and my owner's lair, while quite quaint, seems a little dull. I wish to see the world! To explore the other flights, to meet new dragons! Unlike the other dragons here, nannying and breeding simply isn't for me. I'm far too young to settle down. So off I go! Goodbye, my sweet family, may I someday return!

The Fishybreath lair was the first clan Bouquet visited on her journey. She was interested in the carefree structure of the lair, and the myriad of ways dragons chose to spend their time. She was particularly intrigued by the massive underground greenhouse run by Gaia and Grendel, and they were happy to teach her everything they knew. They covered everything from how to grow seedlings to what specific plants are used for, and even a bit about cooking.
She finished up her visit by roaming the tundra with Nessy, the clan's medic and scout, who taught her how to track a quarry, stitch up a claw wound, and survive a blizzard. Feeling quite confident after living through a winter in the Southern Icefield, Bouquet set off again, looking forward to warmer weather.

Karilara
While she was wandering she found a Tundra dressed in white with a pair of curious goggles on the top of her head. Her name was Sable and she invited the lovely flower girl to come and stay with her clan. The DreadWastes Clan lived in a series of underground caves. They were lit with torches and strange glowing mushrooms. Despite being underground, it was never cold or damp, but warm and friendly. She made fast friends with Selas, the clan's chef who taught her how to cook using what was around. After spending a wonderful Brightshine Jubilee she decided to wander off again and find somewhere else to spend a Thundercrack!

She spent Thundercrack at an inn, a rowdy little place perched in the cliffs of the Arcane coast. She had a wonderful time, celebrating with the Lightning dragons staying there (except for one strutting peacock, who she was less than fond of for his particularly unpleasant nature). She even sampled some traditional Lightning drinks; there was feather-raising liquor that gave her a pleasant tingling after a few sips, and some rich, dark coffee with a buzz that lasted days (or so it felt). Of course, the dish of the week was a superb fish stew cooked up by a couple of Ridgebacks, who taught her the recipe when she inquired.
Soon, however, the festivities had to come to an end, and so Bouquet decided to move on as well; there was, after all, so much more world to see! After thanking the innkeeper, she moved on, her pack just a little bit heavier with the pot or two of the coffee she'd fallen in love with.

Shockboob

Bouquet had not known what to expect when she came to rest with the clan of demons and angels, but it had certainly not been the soft, pale dragon that was Phenakite, or the brutish Raziel, but she couldn't help but be drawn to the odd clan's array of inhabitants.

She had learnt about Plague and Fire history from Inferno, she had met the dream spirits Verahandii and Magelienia and had tasted the dust of a million dead stars while in their presence, she had met Rigor and had charmed the grim reaper with her quiet passion and soft voice, she had fallen in love with the flowers that Sorrel grew her in the palm of his hands.

Bouquet had sung in the rain with Hycanthias, had poured over maps and atlases with Galileo, she had, perhaps, fallen a little in love with a beautiful coatl by the name of Cecilia, and it tore her apart to leave the lovely lady behind, but there was still much to see - perhaps, one day, she would return.

Until then, Bouquet left with a map from the mapmaker, a bewitched candle from the Candlemaker, and enchanting stories from the storyteller; in return, she left a bit of her heart in the hands of a pretty green dragon.
