Theme Song

An object had been placed on the bench that he usually inhabited. Kanan stepped forward to see what it could be to find a small book and quill facing him. His hand went out to open the book and examine its pages. Lines upon lines of poetry filled the paper in flowing black ink making his eyes widen and a smile creep onto his face. All of a sudden, a breeze came by and all of the papers tucked into the bindings of the book were scattered, flying in every which direction.

“Oh dear,” he muttered before chasing after each page but they seemed to be all flowing in the same direction. His legs carried him forward but he was always out of reach. When they finally began to float down he dove forward before they landed in the mud and sacrificed his cleanliness in exchange for his new treasures. After wiping the mud from his vision he stared at the surroundings that he had come upon. A large garden greeted him unlike any that he had seen before. Kanan’s eyes widened as a white blossom floated down to land on his pages of poetry. Inspiration filled his being as he took the quill and papers and began to write, entranced by the splendor of the garden around him.

Once his writing hand had been exhausted and all of the words were written he examined his work. Not nearly as marvelous as the plants that trapped his vision but he didn’t mind. The artistic side of him was overjoyed at his discovery and he plucked a few strands off of the plants to cultivate them later. As soon as he arrived at his now clan, they assigned him as gardener right next to a beautiful young lady who admired him as well as his talents.

"I'm never the first to be picked from the bunch"
He sighs as he waits in his row
"Even the most basic of floralia, the daisies
Are ever the first of the species to go."

He's a beautiful hybrid, not very high maintenance
But people are scared of the different, unknown;
If you endure the rain, here on out comes the rainbow
Revealing true beauty from the soil below.
