The Shrine Keeper

SUMMARY
Ozensa came to the clan as a seasoned shrine apprentice, having spent her childhood caring for the shrines she lived at. Once she came of age, she graduated to a proper keeper. She helped establish Rivensong's large, permanent shrine located in the central part of the clan's territory and oversaw its construction. Now she maintains that space.

A busy dragon, Ozensa nonetheless finds time for her friends among the clan. When not caring for the shrine's sacred snakes, organizing events and festivals, or performing general care for the shrine, she can often be found taking tea with others. A gentle and caring dragon, Ozensa's advice and help is favored among the clan. When she finds time for herself, she prefers to read or play music.
HISTORY
The soft ringing of bells and windchimes followed Ozensa throughout her childhood. Orphaned before she even hatched, she was raised by the wind acolytes who first found her. She traveled from shrine to shrine, learning the ways of the wind. The scent of burning incense was, for her, always the scent of home. As she grew older, instead of leaving, she chose to stay and begin proper training as a shrine keeper. A devoted and dedicated dragon, Ozensa learned quickly.

Traveling is a right of passage for many wind-born dragons, especially an acolyte, and Ozensa was no exception. She came to the clan late one winter and agreed to help organize their first proper celebration of the Mistral Jamboree in exchange for their hospitality. Quickly befriending Tanja, she decided to stay and help the clan build a proper shrine. The work took some time, but Ozensa was proud to be able to truly help the clan. After the wind shrine was built, Ozensa later helped plan for ten other shrines to be built across clan lands.

Ozensa is the one responsible for organizing the ritual festivals that celebrate each deity, but by far her biggest responsibility is ensuring that the month-long Mistral Jamboree runs smoothly. She is also involved with any other event with a religious aspect to it, mostly hatchings, bonding ceremonies, funerals, and raiding prayers. The upkeep of the shrine is a full-time task, but Ozensa's enthusiasm and kindness ensures she is a popular dragon amongst the clan.
