Origin: great-grandson of a meek but industrious Copperclaw Clan warrior who defected to follow the peaceful Slatehide Troupe. In Grit Clan he found that crafters were no less respected than fighters, and advancements in status were possible without combat, a welcome change from his first clan

Intent: to be a bit shocked that only now, ages after his hatching, was his lineage's seniority properly considered, so overlooked as formal clan members were his offsite-quarrying forefathers. He wasn't at all clear what the "something-eth-blood" thing even meant, so he'd never investigated until Rokk insisted one day. But despite being a title held by the likes of his humble pal Rokk, it's apparently a matter of clan prestige. This cumbersome belt is his ticket to his own private living quarters, that's a step up. Grampclaw would be proud

to take refuge in Clan Redemption until Grit Clan's food stores recover, a surprisingly pleasant experience. Grampclaw would be jealous
