Frostbite is sweet and naïve, slow to anger and easy to please. She loves giving gifts, and a friend's birthday is more exciting to her than it is to the birthday dragon. If you hurt her loved ones, however, her wrath is to be feared.
Her mate was a Spiral named Serenity; they were happy together for many years. But Serenity longed to serve the Glademother in person, and this wish slowly formed a gap between the two. Frostbite finally told him that he could not be happy with her if all he wanted was to leave, and leave he did.
She was heartbroken for months, sitting silently by herself in her den or gazing up at the faraway branches of the Behemoth. Nothing could console her, not her friends, family, or the sweet release of sleep. But on a gathering venture near Redrock Cove, she was approached by a young Maren warrior, who sensed her pain and wanted to help. Frostbite was startled- Beastclans are Beasts, aren't they?- but her deep pain was soothed by the eerie song of the Maren girl. The Maren offered to come home with her, and Frostbite happily agreed, smiling for the first time in months.
The two are inseparable, and Frostbite has since enlisted the help of Tove to build a small tank of water that Frostbite's Maren companion (whose name is Liana) can occupy when they are not in Frostbite's den. She has finally started to heal, and her newfound friendship has made her happier than she ever was with Serenity.
